Volunteer Opportunities

volunteers at the Kingston Archaeological Centre

As a non-profit organization dedicated to the recognition, investigation, and preservation of archaeological resources in Ontario we appreciate the support of volunteers to help us carrying out the activities that allow us to archive these goals.

Volunteers contribute significantly to the Foundation’s success helping all aspects of the Centre run smoothly from serving on our Board of Directors to keeping the curation of our artifact collection up to date. Volunteer opportunities with the Foundation include helping us in our Artifact Processing Lab, Interpretive Centre, Education department, Library & Archives, and with special events.

Volunteer shifts with the Foundation are typically scheduled between the hours of 1:30 – 4:30, Monday – Friday, but can be arranged to fit into your schedule. We appreciate any amount of time you have to offer. Check our list of volunteer opportunities for up to date volunteer positions at the Centre.

Thank-you for thinking of volunteering with the Foundation, join us today and become a part of history!
