An unknown and unapproved cemetery was discovered in 2002 during mechanical excavation for the foundations of a new annex to Bethel Church. Under the authorization of an investigative order, subsequently followed by a disinterment order issued by the Cemeteries Regulation Section of the provincial government, the Foundation conducted an excavation and disinterment of the disturbed graves. The excavated human remains were reinterred shortly thereafter.
