Stage 2 testing by the Cataraqui Archaeological Research Foundation at the site of a new sports arena in Kingston led to the discovery of intact archaeological resources dating to the late eighteenth century. The Foundation was contracted to conduct the extensive Stage 4 excavation of the property during the summer of 2006.
