The Can You Dig It? series is an innovative programme of archaeological research and education unparalleled in the province. Each year over 700 students and adults participate in one of our unique programmes. Join us for an experience of your own.

How To Enroll For A Programme

To book a programme please contact us to identify the desired programme and date(s). Preferred group sizes are specified by programme. School programmes are required to be paid in full at time of delivery. Summer programmes are required to be paid in full prior to commencement of the session to ensure the reservation of a space. Refunds for cancellations made prior to the commencement of a session will be made less 25% of the registration fee for handling and administration. No refunds will be made after commencement of a session. Please contact us for more information. Can You Dig It? Summer Archaeology Camp

Our week-long summer archaeology camp provides an in-depth introduction to the entire process of archaeology. Please see our Can You Dig It? page for details.

Junior Archaeologists

This program will once again run in the summer at a time to be announced. Please check the website again later for updated details or email education@carf.info and request to be placed on our mailing list. This is a 2 hour program geared to children aged 6 to 10; the cost is $4/child or $2 /child if you are a sponsor. Preregistration is required: to preregister, or for more information, please contact us.

Hands on Heritage (Home Learner Program)

This is a weekly program for children 6 to 12 years old, held every Wednesday from 1pm-3pm at various Museum sites in Kingston. It provides educational programming opportunities for those who learn at home, or in small private settings.
