Bones

By:Alex Adams

A white, rigid, calcareous structure that forms a skeleton of all vertebras. Spongy bones are mostly found on the end of bones, thick cortexes are hollow with a hard outer casing.

  1. Is most likely a tibia, number one is a long bone with a long center shaft.
  2. Is part of a long bone and is most likely a joint and is spongy which can tell us that it would probably be a joint bone.
  3. Is a irregular bone because of it’s complex shape and I think it is a bone placed higher up on the body because that’s where someone would chop something(As it is).
  1. Is missing the ankle joint and most of the shinbone.
  2. Could be a femur bone,it is missing the joint and the pit at the top and is missing most of the top of the bone.
  3. Is the body of the vertebra and holds the spine together and acts as a shock absorber and the bone is missing half of it’s self and all of it’s root like attachments.

I believe that #1 and #2 are from a sheep and #3 is from a small cow.
