Bones
By:Alex Adams
A white, rigid, calcareous structure that forms a skeleton of all vertebras. Spongy bones are mostly found on the end of bones, thick cortexes are hollow with a hard outer casing.
- Is most likely a tibia, number one is a long bone with a long center shaft.
- Is part of a long bone and is most likely a joint and is spongy which can tell us that it would probably be a joint bone.
- Is a irregular bone because of it’s complex shape and I think it is a bone placed higher up on the body because that’s where someone would chop something(As it is).
- Is missing the ankle joint and most of the shinbone.
- Could be a femur bone,it is missing the joint and the pit at the top and is missing most of the top of the bone.
- Is the body of the vertebra and holds the spine together and acts as a shock absorber and the bone is missing half of it’s self and all of it’s root like attachments.
I believe that #1 and #2 are from a sheep and #3 is from a small cow.
