This spoon is made of some iron. The stem of the spoon is fiddle style and is down turned. The end is rounded and it has a dog nose. The bowl is ovate and is all one piece. It is from the late 18th century.
It has a bone handle and iron prongs and shank, therefore it is a composite fork. It has two prongs. The shoulder is flat and it also has a tapered round shank. The handle is not decorated. Forks were not commonly used in England until late 17th century.
