Emilea Balkham
This medallion is the most detailed of the three. On the front there is a lion, a crown, a unicorn, a cannon, and the words, "Quo Fas Et Gloria Duncunt", which means, "Where right and glory lead." On the top there is a cylinder, used to hold the plume. On the back thre is a hook, used to hold the plume and the plume holder to the hat. This plume holder is more detailed because it might have been used by a soldier from a high rank.
This medallion was also used to hold a plume on a soldier. It has a round shiny end, and a leaf-like end. This plume holder is smaller than the other plume holder, so this one might have been used by a soldier in a lower rank.
This medallion is very fragile and is a little bent. It may not be a plume holder because it doesnŐt have any tubes like the other two. It could have been a helmet plate for a soldier. All these medallions were probably used in the war of 1812.
