In my first year here we dug at Fort Henry. We found a pipe, bullets, and a lot of glass. We learned about different towers, the hospital that used to be there, and what happened in Fort Henry. On Friday, we presented our project, a game called "Archaeology". It was a fun week.
The second year, I was the only girl there. We went to Queens and saw pictures, and learned about archives. On Tuesday and Wednesday we dug at Fort Frederick. I found bones, glass, a belt buckle, and what I think was a piece of jewellery. On Thursday, it rained for the entire day. We explored the tower and watched "Waterloo".
The third year, we dug at Fort Frederick. The first day we learned about taking pictures of artifacts, and reading and re-writing journals from 1812. That year we also made our own website. We picked artifacts and wrote descriptions of them. I wrote about three war medallions. While digging, I found bones, glass, and bullets, and we explored the tower again.
The fourth and last year we dug at Fort Frederick. We found a button, chicken bones, a cow bone, a lot of nails, and wood. We dug in the Officers Quarters.
