Naval Hospital Unearthed: Public Archaeology Day

Location: Royal Military College of Canada, field near the Commandant's House

In celebration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, the 17th annual “Can You Dig It?”© summer archaeology program we will located at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). Excavations will take place at the site of the Naval Hospital, which was erected at some point between June 1813 and 1814. Come visit on Public Archaeology Day to see an excavation underway. Meet both professional archaeologists and program participants and join them for fun archaeologythemed games, tours and refreshments.
