Educational Programs

Educational Programs

The Foundation’s Educational Programs have been custom-designed by the staff with volunteers and in co-operation with the Queen’s University Faculty of Education Practicum program. All Foundation programs have been designed to provide a solid introduction to archaeology and its importance, and to develop an appreciation for the archaeology of Kingston and the surrounding area and the physical evidence it has uncovered.

School Programs

All of our school programs are developed to fulfill the requirements of the Ontario Curriculum for grades 3 - 12 in a wide range of subjects. Program lengths vary and are available both morning and afternoon and can be delivered at the Kingston Archaeological Centre or in the classroom. Combine half day programs to make the perfect full day learning experience. Please click on the brochures below for more information about each grade level.
