The Cataraqui Archaeological Research Foundation is governed by its Board of Directors which is a publicly accountable body. It is established by its Constitution, and obtains its legal authority by virtue of its provincial incorporation. Its By-Laws define the composition of the Board of Directors including the selection of members and election of officers.
The Foundation's Policies & Standards are in accordance with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport's Standards for Community Museums in Ontario (August 2000).
