$1 Million Archaeological Project Explores History-Rich RMC Site

Kingston's biggest archaeological "dig" since the mid-1980s is underway at the Royal Military College. With some 35 archaeological workers now exploring more than 15 separate areas at Point Frederick, Archaeologist Sue Bazely, Executive Director of the Cataraqui Archaeological Research Foundation, says that findings to date indicate both extensive human habitation and military construction during the War of 1812.
