Interpretive Signage Unveiling at the Fort Henry Garrison Hospital Site

Three years of Can You Dig It? excavation at Fort Henry's old Garrison Hospital site will culminate Wednesday June 25 at 1:00 pm with the ceremonial public unveiling of a commemorative plaque and interpretive signage. Guided tours of the site will be offered by Cataraqui Archaeological Research Foundation Executive Director, Susan Bazely, who served as Camp Director during the "digs" at the Garrison Hospital. The event will take place as part of Kingston's Archaeology Week, which is being celebrated throughout the city June 23 through June 27.
